Katelyn has always had an interest in business and finance, having an entrepreneurial spirit like her father. “It was a career path that enabled me to pursue my passions and skillset at the same time – working with and helping people tied to finance and business that can greatly impact lives in a positive way.”
What Katelyn enjoys most about her current role is helping to educate all family members. “I truly enjoy helping and educating both spouses and their children with their planning needs. Not only will they be more likely to reach their financial goals and life dreams, but all will feel more comfortable and confident in the decisions made together.”
Katelyn is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing. Prior to joining Gryphon, she was employed at Merrill Lynch with her most recent role as an Assistant Vice President. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Board of Standards, Inc.
Katelyn’s community involvement includes participating in the Nationwide Children’s Annual Bull Run, Pelotonia, Mount Notre Dame High School MLS Endowment Fund Participant and is an Ohio University College of Business Alumni and Schey Sales Center Alumni. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being active, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes.
