Johnny DiOrio

Johnny is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Applied Mathematics. During his time at Notre Dame, he conducted extensive research on Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) strategy and economic inequality, deepening his understanding of both industry structure and broader socioeconomic dynamics.

At Gryphon, Johnny serves on the Investment Solutions team, helping shape clients’ asset allocation strategy and contributing to the development of investment theory across portfolios. As part of the team, Johnny plays a central role in the due diligence and analysis of the firm’s alternative investment platform, contributing to the evaluation and ongoing monitoring and reporting of alternative investments. He is also a key part of the firm’s effort to evaluate and onboard new technologies into core investment and operational processes.

Outside of work, Johnny enjoys reading, lifting, running, traveling, and spending time with family. He is an avid board game player and constant learner, with a love of geography, history, and economics.
